Travelling with the Zoo Society
In cooperation with travel agencies, the Zoo Society offers members exclusive day trips to other zoological gardens in the region, or longer overnight trips to zoos in Germany and abroad. Information concerning these trips is sent to members by post.
Day Trips
The Zoo Society day trips are made to zoological gardens in the area that can be easily reached by bus. Usually one day trip is scheduled per year.
Overnight trips
The Zoo Society regularly offers its members the possibility to take part in longer trips to zoological gardens within Germany and abroad. These trips are normally offered in conjunction with Conti-Reisen travel agency in Cologne.
Reports on previous trips by the Zoo Society
In the Zoo Society's magazine, the Pinguinal, you will regularly find reports by members on the overnight and day trips. With one click you can download various reports on previous trips in PDF form. These reports are only available in German.
