
The seventh issue of the Pinguinal magazine appeared on October 22, 2010. The highlights of this issue were the Green Tree Python, Elephants in the snow and an interview with the chairman of the Wuppertal culture committee. Other topics included Meerkats, Black-footed Cats, Lions and special encounters between animals and humans, sponsoring animals and a lot more. In addition there are articles about recent news and reports about field trips and other trips with the Zoo Society.

Pinguinal – The Wuppertal Zoo Society's magazine
The Pinguinal is the Zoo Society's magazine. It is created voluntarily by members of the Zoo Society and provides information about activities and projects of the Zoo Society, as well as interesting facts about the animals and people at the Zoo. For the total production (typesetting, layout, etc.) the Zoo Society happily receives support from the Bergische Blätter Verlags GmbH free of charge.

The ninth issue of the Pinguinal magazine appeared on the October 22, 2011. The highlights of this issue are the Asian Golden Cats, the new Opaki enclosure and the latest developments on Zoo gastronomy. Further topics are plants at the Zoo, squirrels, the Emerald Tree Monitor, events at the Zoo and lots more. In addition there are articles about recent news and reports about field trips and other trips with the Zoo Society.
Former editions

The eighth issue of the Pinguinal magazine appeared on April 15, 2011. The highlights of this issue are the two female Tigers in Tiger Valley, offspring from the grey giants and iridescent, six-legged creatures between the enclosures. Further topics are plants at the Zoo (the giant rhubarb plant), the Guira Cuckoo, Sea Lions and lots more. In addition there are articles about recent news and reports about field trips and other trips with the Zoo Society.
